ADAM ANDRASCIK | FALL / WINTER 2012
London based designer and Central Saint Martins alumni Adam Andrascik has created a ready-to-wear collection in soft fabrics that offer clean lines. Keeping to muted block colours of white and black with pops of deep cobalt blue, the Adam Andrascik Fall / Winter 2012 collection is monochromatic power dressing with a twist.
Working elegance with comfort, the Fall / Winter 2012 pieces were delicate and beautifully crafted for everyday wearability. Andrascik use of transparent fluid material with leather details to accent the palette was in tandem with the straight lines, re-awakening a new modernist silhouette. Adam Andrascik keeps it simple with elements of deconstruction adopting a fresh take on classic garments such as the tunic or the pencil skirt.
Adding a sense of androgyny through oversized pieces such as the masculine boxy blazers, the Fall / Winter 2012 collection is juxtaposed by the sophistication of peplumed tops. Long line shift dresses and sleek cigarette pants are key items in this collection which offers something unique by being both delicate yet avant garde.
