BODYBOUND – ONES TO WATCH | FALL / WINTER 2012

Bodybound Fall / Winter 2012, created by young talent Kim Choong-Wilkins, is a heady futuristic collection, taking inspiration from Blade Runner and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The collection showcased gold cropped jackets with heavy shoulder detailing and a sumptuous leather-like finish and matching visors. Chainmail inspired vests in silver, copper and gold wear paired with traditionally tailored pin-striped trousers, slightly cropped at the ankle.

The main attraction of the show was perhaps clear rain-mac-esque piece, simply fitted over underwear and held together with black braces.

This was perhaps the bravest of all collections, pushing all boundaries to the limit.
