DIOR HOMME | FALL / WINTER 2012
Kris Van Assche’s military inspired Fall / Winter 2012 collection for Dior Homme was utilitarian style at its chicest.
Models were head-to-toe in khaki, black or stone coloured tailored suits, belted macs and pea coats, finished off with caps and aviator sunglasses. Button down collar shirts and tight sweaters completed this minimalist look.
Slate-grey satin panels and quilting broke up the typical combination of leather and sheepskin jackets, adding a touch of luxe to some of the outerwear garments. Bold printed eagles emblazoned across cape jackets, trousers and a shirt also kept the collection from appearing too oppressive by breaking up the head-to-toe colours. A playful twist on traditional military camouflage.
