Draw In Light Fall Winter 2012

DRAW IN LIGHT | FALL / WINTER 2012

Since its launch in 2009, London-based label Draw In Light has gathered a cult following, all clamouring after their free-hand silk-screen pieces.

Inspired by life and nature, the collections explore ideas of colour, space and elements of earth. The Fall / Winter 2012 collection, entitled Take Heart, is a representation of the internal and external framework of anatomy, featuring rich pigment colours and delicate skeletal patterns.

Founded by life-long friends Polly Wilkinson and Harriet Barford after they both completed a degree in Print Design for Fashion at Brighton University, Draw In Light puts the process of silk-screening at the heart of design. Featuring tunic dresses, tees and maxi-skirts in silk, crepe and jersey, their simple designs let the prints do all the talking.

As every garment is silk-screened by hand, each piece is as individual and unique as the person wearing it.
