MELT FESTIVAL, GERMANY, 17th- 19th July

Melt! is a unique music festival set on the Ferropolis peninsula against a backdrop of five huge coal mining diggers that tower into the sky. But it’s not just the location that makes this one of the ‘must-do’ festivals of the summer; they’ve just announced a great line-up, headlined by none other than Oasis, Bloc Party and Aphex Twin + Hecker. And it doesn’t stop there. Many other acts have been confirmed, such as Röyksopp, Gossip, The Whitest Boy Alive, Kasabian, Klaxons and Polarkreis 18 to name but a few, including acts which will be performing exclusively at Melt!, their only festival appearance in 2009. So make sure you get in there quick for tickets…
