Australian sisters Somer and Liberty Watson have a simple ethos for their collections, which is to design ‘effortlessly wearable, refined and relaxed’ pieces that are your ‘any-days and every-days’.

Their Fall / Winter 2012 collection is just that, featuring fur gilets, cozy knits and slouchy jumpsuits that look as comfortable as they are desirable. With a colour palette of black, gold, red and white, the collection has a timeless look and feel to it combining classic shapes and shades.

Bias-cuts and contemporary prints update capsule wardrobe staples such as the sequin top and wrap-dress, maintaining a feminine and chic style.

While much of the collection is understated casual-cool, stand out pieces such as the red liquid sequin dress, white fur jacket and orange leather mini-skirt prove the designers aren’t afraid of taking risks and getting noticed.

With only three collections to their name and already a handful of celebrity fans down-under, the future looks bright for this dynamic duo.
