HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DESIGNING FOR?
I set up the brand Orschel-Read in late 2008.
WHERE DID YOU STUDY?
I did my BA at Central Saint Martins, before going on to an MA at the Royal College of Art.
EARLIEST FASHION MEMORY?
I always used to try and dress my mother up in ball gowns when I was a young child.
In terms of a long career of creative genius, I admire Yohji Yamamoto.
WHERE’S THE HOTTEST PLACE TO GO IN LONDON RIGHT NOW?
Finding a park that is not crammed with the entire of London’s population!
WHO SHOULD WE BE LOOKING OUT FOR?
I really rate 3 recent graduates of the Royal College of Art: menswear designers Courtney Mc and Astrid Anderson and milliner Zara Gorman.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
The Orschel-Read style is about a keen eye for detail and cut, traditional tailoring methods and a somewhat irreverent elegance.

WHAT DO YOU MISS WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT HOME?
I live above my warehouse and studio, so when I am away from home I miss working.
IF YOU COULD BUY A PLANE TICKET WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
Well if I could have two tickets I would like to take my fiancée with me to the Maldives.
HAS FASHION BECOME MAINSTREAM?
Fashion now leads the mainstream but in London there is a definite counterpoint vibe.
It has to be Daphne Guinness for the wonderful support she gives to British fashion.
2011 IS ALL ABOUT?
In men’s fashion, 2011 is all about intricate and beautiful tailoring with exotic and military twists.
WHO ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?
Creedence Clearwater Revival, Arlo Guthrie, The Moody Blues and Bob Dylan.
MY FAVOURITE SEASON IS?
Autumn, its not too cold and you get to wear lots of layers.
