Legendary fashion house Balmain all started in France many years ago by ‘the king of French fashion’, Pierre Balmain. Following Balmain’s death in 1982 the house has been led by many over the years, this one being no different. In April this year it was announced that after five years Christophe Decarnin, who has given the label a more contemporary and edgier clientele, would no longer be with the company. Give way to Olivier Rousteing, the new Creative Director of Balmain.
