A fairly new edition to the world of fashion, designer Anne Sofie Madsen has already gained recognition from journalists and fellow designers from across the industry. Born in Denmark and educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design, Madsen worked for John Galliano at Dior and as a Junior Designer for Alexander McQueen before setting up her own label.

French-born designer Catherine Malandrino displayed a collection full of vice and virtue with her latest ready-to-wear line. At the show in New York, Malandrino revealed the motivation behind the Fall / Winter 2012 collection.

London based duo Susan Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason, who hail from Germany and Iceland, have been causing quiet ripples of excitement with their latest collection for Fall / Winter 2012, which was their first presentation since forming the collection in 2008.

Focussing on the year they launched their first ready-to-wear collection, 1973, Bally have created a collection based on their customers circa 1970. Looking at unexpected volume and architectural construction, creative directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler continued their razor sharp cuts and silhouettes.
